MY MOTHER MY INFLUENCER.
WHAT KIND OF MOTHER DO YOU WANT TO
BE?
Even before my first
tears hits the ground, my mother was there to wipe it away. My mother feels my pains before I can
even realize it. She understands my needs before I can even think of them.
That’s why we call her a mother.
My mother has been an extraordinary influence in
my life and always will, she is the kind of mum who would always take timeout to
care for her children not only her biological children, but also her spiritual children,
adopted children, friends, families, relatives, love ones and even enemies. She
lived sacrificial live, she is so simple and easy going, always smiling even at
difficult time, she doesn't give up and she has taught me to be strong, prayerful, reliable as a woman,
sister, wife, mother and all that I represent.
BE RELIABLE AND RESPONSIBLE:
"Reliability and responsibility are two quiet virtues that can announce a
person and make him or her a generational blessing.”
“She taught me to be a shoulder to lean on for
my generation, to be a rescuer to my generation and also a lady of substance,
influence, knowledge, filled with wisdom, hardworking, spirit filled, never
giving up type, to be a lady that set goals, focus on the goals and never give up”.
She taught me to always be responsible and respectful, she taught and
influence me to be a shelter that people can always run to, a hospital for the sick,
a hand that feeds nation's, a lady that Is a blessing to her generation.
Despite what she faced in her
husband's house, she never allowed that to stop or disturb her early assignment.
She so much love children and they always surround her, even few hours before she
died she still went to church and asked the little children to come out and thank
God on her behalf for divine healing, I thank God for her life because even at
the point of death she still went to church before dying. What a fulfilled life.
My mother has always been a very strong role model to me and everyone around her,
growing up with someone like her to look up to has changed my life in many ways,
she has helped me grow physically, spiritually, intellectually and considerately.
She taught me how to love, care and give back to people. She is the one who was
there to lean on when I cannot fix my own problems and always taught me to lean
on God the more through the study of the word of God, walk with God and always communicate
with him. Her advice and words make me, she always knows what to say or when not
to say anything and she let me try things myself. Her influence affects the way
I lived my life, she never pushed even though she probably wanted to but never let
me to give upon something am good at either, without the influence of my mum I would
have no morals, I wouldn't know how to maximize my true potentials.
“NEVER GIVE UP”
She has always encouraged getting up and
trying it a gain no matter how bad I was, she always believed in my dreams. If I
want a thing she supports me to get it especially when it’s something that will
impact me positively, I could remember while coming to school I was about giving
up because my family wasn't financially buoyant as at then, but my mum never let
me give up on my dream of becoming graduate, she tried all possible means, she sacrificed
a lot of things to watch me and my siblings go to school and succeed in life. She
always said to me “what doesn't kill you simply makes you stronger, better
and wiser' and that suffering don't last long it's only a matter of time.”
She is simply the best always, she is
a role model indeed.
RECOMMENDED BOOKS:
I recommend Gifted hand by Ben Carson,
it's Ben's true life story which also contains how his mother was a great influence
in his life and family. Also I recommend Just as I Am by Billy Graham there he mentioned
seven life lessons he learnt from his mother which are:
1 Dignity in hard work.
2 A mother's prayers are powerful.
3 Spend time in God's word every day.
4 Start reading at younger age.
5 Marriage is worth fighting for.
6 Even the best parents make
mistakes.
7 Finish well.
