IMPACTFUL LADY

“The world is in dare need of women who will be change agent, women will value impact than beauty,

Women who will value their vision than fashion,

Women who will rather be good parents than famous and, irresponsible parents.”

  Definition                        

To impact means to have a strong influence or effect on someone or something.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, Impactful is an adjective that means "Having a major impact or effect".

Another word for impact can be called Influential or powerful.

WHO IS AN IMPACTFUL LADY?

An impactful lady is a lady that is very bold, courageous and confident. She is a person that adds values to others, and influences everyone around her.

“An impactful lady is one whose character is worth emulating.”

She will go the extra mile for the betterment of others.

The role of women is very important in our lives and in the world.

EXAMPLES LADIES

Jesus Christ was brought into the world by a strong woman "Mary". Even in the beginning of Creation, God put a woman " Eve" on Earth to be a Help meet to a Man " Adam”.

In our society today, people get influenced easily by what they see or hear and emulate it easily. As an impactful Lady, your first priority is to positively affect the lives of others. Your life is a reflection of who you are, so it is important to act and behave Rightly.

In the Bible and our world today, we could see strong and influential woman, who have impacted their generation and has kept an exemplary footprint for other women.

So take a look at two strong women in the Bible;

DEBORAH

Deborah was the only female Judge mentioned in the Bible, she is known for being a compassionate leader.

Deborah provides us with a picture of leadership that wasn't normally seen in the society at her time.

She was a wise Judge whose faith and wisdom was found in God.

ESTHER

Esther is one of the most prominent women in the Bible, she was a beautiful Lady who found favor in the sight of the king and everyone that saw her.

Esther choose to act and give up her life, when the lives of her people were in Danger.

She was able to preserve the lives of the Jews in her generation as queen of another Kingdom.

Esther was a very courageous and prayer woman, she is a lady of Honor.

In our society today there are a lot of influential woman, like; Ngozi- Okonjo-Iweala, she is a board member of standard chartered Bank, she served as the managing Director of the world Bank.

She has laid down an indelible mark for other woman to follow.

“Life is not fair to anyone, it is only fair to those who take the bull by the horn, and are determined to go extra mile.”

ATTRIBUTES OF AN IMPACTFUL LADY

1.    An optimistic Attitude: Being optimistic brings confident to an impactful lady. She is a woman who looks on the positive side of things.

2.    Persistence: she never gives up; she is persistent among all odds. Persistence is one critical attribute of an impactful lady. the attitude to still stay courageous.

She is one with an inner drive that never gives up.

“Endurance is the queen of virtues.”

3.    A strong sense of self Confidence: Confidence is a belief in your ability to succeed, a believe that you can do something excellently when you try.

Confident simple builds a faith in you to achieve anything.

This is a tough one because we get so many external messages and that little voice in our head often becomes one of yet believing in oneself allows us to take on challenges.


4.    Purposeful and passionate: An Impactful lady is very purposeful and passionate about her goals and ambitions, she believes in Her purpose and purse it with strong passionate among all odds.

An Impactful Lady is very passionate about our purpose, and this could be in many areas like raising Young children, Running a Company, Fight towards Social Change, empowering other Ladies etc.


Having enthusiasm and excitement will keep you persistent and optimistic.

5.    Embody and Embrace Change: Life's changes with every passing day, embracing change and been willing to work in the feel of Change is the embodiment of leadership.

She is one that accept changes and never gives up on her dreams.

CONCLUSION

There are a lot of attributes of an Impactful lady but above is just a few, for us to work on.

It's important that we recognize our strength and weakness and then work on our weaknesses and improve more on our strength.

  Live a life people will remember for good even when you are gone. Be determined to be a lady of influence, and an Impactful Lady.

You have a voice don't be scared to speak out, you don't need to have a loud voice, your voice belongs to you only.

Life brings challenge to us sometimes but stick to your plans and embrace changes, learn from others and trust God above all things, He will lead you through it all.

  "Our limitation in life is self-induced when God created us he never placed any limitation in our minds." What we see as limitations today are born from our fear, customs, traditions and popular opinions. If only you can believe enough to take a step in the direction of your dream, you can achieve more than you imagine.  The men and women that invented the gadgets and technological the equipment we use today had limitations all around them but they choose to see only possibilities.  Cast off any thought of impossibility and you'll that the obstacle is just a stepping stone to higher ground. Thomas Edison had a lot of reasons to quit believing that he could manufacture a light bulb, countries like America and others could have stopped trying to lunch rocket into the moon or explore space travel haven met with a lot of failures, but they didn't and today are successful in those areas.  Never! I mean never stop believing in yourself and in your dream....
