WHO ARE THOSE YOU CALL YOUR FRIENDS?

 

There is a popular saying that states that, “show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.”

The holy bible also said, “Do not be so deceive and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.” (1COR 15:33 AMP)

 Those you call your friends matter a lot, they play a major role in what you will become in the future.

Your friends will either make you or mare you. That’s what it is.

 I would like you to consider those who are into crime, how did they get into it? a friend introduced them, those who are into prostitution, who introduced them into it? A friend.

 Now let’s go back to campus, remember when some persons came the first into the campus, their very serious, some came with the mindset of graduating with a first-class, some with the mindset of serving God, while some came with the mindset of living a quiet life, but unfortunately, some of these persons ended up graduating with a pass, some became malpractice lords and specialists in bribing lecturers, some ended up as prostitute and cultists.

What happened? The friends they associated with, corrupted their dreams, and drained their vision. I guess you know such persons and I hope you’re not one of them or about to be one of them.

Again I say be careful of those you call your friend. Anybody you call your friends and such person is not adding to your life, it’s time to yank that person off your life.

       

Anyone who is not heading your way, shouldn’t be on the same vehicle with you. For example, if you are going to Sokoto, you cannot enter the same vehicle with someone going to Calabar. Be wise!

Those who journey with you matters a lot, they determine to a great extent how your journey would be. Take only the right people with you.

Those who will encourage you, tell you the truth, assist you when things go wrong, those who will stand by you in times of trouble, and those who are ready to sacrifice their lives for you.

 

       The reason I call these men mad is that they care less about popular opinions and criticism. They focus more on their journey in life. They’re not after pleasing men, but giving their quota to the world, they are ready to be alone rather than to be entangled with negative and cynical people or friends. 

They rather live a fruitful life than die in pretense or wallow in excuses.

 

They have learned the difference between chance and choice, assumption and reality, luck and hard work, luxury, and investment. They are not after fame but making an impact. 

 

WHAT ABOUT YOU?
WHAT IS YOUR GOAL IN LIFE?

 These set of persons are visionary, they don’t live their life to chance, they have a template for every season of their lives.

They have an unshakable faith in themselves and God, they see only possibilities and envision success, no matter how difficult their path leads, they don’t quit.

 

CAN YOU HOLD ON TO YOUR VISION EVEN IF THE WORLD IS AGAINST YOU?

No one places high value on cheap and common products.
