MAD MEN

If you want to change the world, you must first change yourself, if you want to move the world, you must first move from the world, if you want your name inscribed in the sand of time, you must maximize every single second that passes. Do you think the future is the ten years you’re yet to see? no! it is every moment that flashes past you.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH YOUR TIME?

“You can tell how great a man is by what he invests his time into.”

Men who will change the world are careful about what they do with their time, they don’t choke themselves with activities, they invest in fruitful activities and endeavors.

“Being busy won’t make you great, it is what you invest your time and life into that will determine how great you are.”

HAVE YOU HEARD OF MIKE ZUCKERBERG?

Mark Zuckerberg is the founder and CEO of the world’s biggest social network (Facebook). And one of the world's youngest billionaire.

He is a man of vision, he focuses his time and energy in developing strategies to expand his Facebook empire.

Zuckerberg has said he doesn’t spend more than 50 to 60 hours a week in the office. He does, however, spend a lot of time thinking about “how to connect the world and serve our communities.” He is always onto something.

Studies show that working long hours can make you less productive.

In 2002, after graduating from Phillips Exeter, Zuckerberg entered Harvard University. By his second year in the Ivy League, he had gained a reputation as a software developer on campus. It was then when he wrote a program Course Match, which helped students choose their subjects based on lists of courses from other users.

He has been maximizing his time right from his teenage age, I’m not surprised where he is today, you too shouldn’t.

Structure your life in such a way that there will not be an opportunity for time wasters, such as;

Friends, colleagues or even relatives who are

1.   Spectators

2.   Pessimists

3.   Lazy

4.   Vision less

5.   Noisemakers etc.

You have to be careful of those who you allow into your life and circle because they wield a lot of influence over your life.

the bible says, “iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverb 27:17 NIV).

If I may ask those who you call your friends are they adding or subtracting from you? Are they helping you to maximize your time or their helping you waste it?

Dear friend, I would like you to research on successful people and those who are their friends, this research will help you structure your life and pattern it for greatness.

For example, Bill Gates is a friend to Warren Buffet and Aliko Dangote.

Again I ask, Who Are Your Friend?

what do you want to be remembered for?

“Greatness is determined by the extent of your output and influence.”

A great man once said, “greatness is not by chance, but by choice, it’s not a thing to be waited for but fought for.”

Greatness is a total of all the little things done well.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR TIME?

I call these men mad because they don’t care what others think of them, they are not carried away by their fame nor intimidated by their challenges.

They take advantage of time and maximize it to the fullest.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “What we can or cannot do, we consider possible or impossible, is a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.”

-Anthony Robbins
